Havre Police Department

A written or verbal warning was issued after a caller from Fourth Street at 8:04 a.m. Wednesday said a neighbor's dogs start barking about 5 a.m.

A written or verbal warning was issued after a caller from 15th Avenue at 10:33 a.m. Wednesday said four dogs were running loose.

A written or verbal warning was issued after a caller from the 1300 Block of First Street reported at 12:20 p.m. Wednesday that a highly intoxicated man was walking westbound.

After a caller from 16th Street West reported at 9:38 p.m. Wednesday that a man had taken off with the caller's wallet after they got into a fight, officers arrested Duke Allen McGarvey of Havre, 34, on Justice or City court warrants.

Officers doing building checks on the 300 Block of First Street at 11:30 p.m. Wednesday arrested Errol A. Mann of Havre on State District Court warrants.

After a caller from the 1900 Block of U.S. Highway 2 West reported at 12:58 this morning that their truck had been taken, officers arrested Thomas Eddy Bigman of Hardin, 36, on a charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Scott Joseph Savage of Havre, 55, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant served Wednesday at 9:42 a.m. at Hill County Detention Center.

Deputies were asked Wednesday at 6:03 p.m. to provide assistance on Sixth Street North.

James Cole Burns of Box Elder, 34, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant after deputies were called to a Box Elder establishment Wednesday at 6:43 p.m. for a complaint.

Deputies investigated a theft forgery or fraud reported at 6:45 p.m. Wednesday.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to four calls Wednesday.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held three 7-week-old kittens, three 13-week-old kittens, one 10-week-old kitten, three 17-week-old kittens and one 12-week-old kitten all of unknown gender, six female cats, one female 23-week-old kitten and three male cats. A male 14-week-old kitten and a male 15-week-old kitten were being held separately.

The shelter also held three female and two male 9-week-old puppies, a female 17-week-old puppy, a female Doberman pinscher dog, a female shar pei dog and a male husky dog.
