Northern football ready for fall scrimmage

Two Montana State University-Northern football players run one-on-one drills at practice at Lights Stadium last week. The Lights will hold their first scrimmage of fall camp this Saturday.

After a week of fall camp, it's time for the Montana State University-Northern football team to finally get their full pads on for their first scrimmage of camp this Saturday at Lights Stadium. As the Lights play live football for the first time since their shortened spring season, MSU-N head coach Andrew Rolin will use the scrimmage to evaluate his players and see who gives the team the best chance to win this fall.

"It's the first time we'll be live and I think it's going to come down to who can execute when it counts. Be at your best when your best is needed and who's going to show up...
