State and local COVID-19 update, Aug. 18, 2021

The total number of cases of COVID-19 in Montana on the state map after today’s update was 121,382 with 436 new cases, 3,067 active. The number of active hospitalizations was 203. The number of deaths was 1,749.

Blaine County Health Department reported Tuesday evening being notified of 10 new cases from Saturday through Tuesday, 16 active, no active hospitalizations listed, 857 total cases, 24 deaths.

Hill County Health Department reported Tuesday evening that 12 new cases were reported, 47 active, 2 active hospitalizations, 2,147 total cases, 46 deaths.

Rocky Boy — reported Tuesday, also reported on either Chouteau or Hill County numbers, 5 new cases, 21 active, 18 active on Rocky Boy’s Indian Reservation, no active hospitalizations listed, 819 total cases. It has had 7 deaths.

Fort Belknap — reported Tuesday evening, also reported on either Blaine or Phillips County numbers, 1 new case, 10 active, no active hospitalizations, 521 total cases, 12 deaths.

Liberty County, reported on the state update this morning, had 1 new case, 13 active, 140 total cases, 1 death.

Chouteau County, reported on the state update this morning, had no new cases, 2 active, 522 total cases, 7 deaths.
