State and local COVID-19 update, Aug. 25, 2021

The Montana state COVID-19 tracking map after today’s update listed 604 new cases, 4,109 active cases, 241 active hospitalizations and 1,773 deaths. The cumulative state total of confirmed cases is 124,278.

Blaine County Health Department reported Tuesday evening being notified of 9 new cases, 37 active, 1 active hospitalization, 925 total cases, 24 deaths.

Hill County Health Department reported Wednesday evening that 9 new cases were reported, 78 active, 4 active hospitalizations, 2,212 total cases, 47 deaths.

Rocky Boy — reported Tuesday, also reported on either Chouteau or Hill County numbers, 5 new cases, 53 active, 45 active on Rocky Boy’s Indian Reservation, 1 active hospitalization, 865 total cases. It has had 7 deaths.

Fort Belknap — no data posted Tuesday.

Liberty County, reported on the state update this morning, had no new cases, 13 active, 147 total cases, 1 death.

Chouteau County, reported on the state update this morning, had 2 new cases, 4 active, 526 total cases, 7 deaths.

People can visit the state tracking map, normally updated between 10 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. each day, online through links at https://montana.maps.arcgis.com and at https://covid19.mt.gov .

People can find online where vaccines are available in their area through https://vaccinefinder.org, operated by Boston’s Children’s Hospital and supported by Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the United States Digital Service.
