State and local COVID-19 update, Sept. 3, 2021

Hill County reported its 47th COVID-19-related death Thursday. Rocky Boy’s Indian Reservation, the data from which also is included in either Hill or Chouteau county numbers, also reported a new death.

The Montana state COVID tracking map after this morning’s update listed 660 new cases, 6,086 active cases, 266 hospitalizations and 1,811 deaths. The cumulative total for the state as 129,487 cases.

Blaine County Health Department reported Thursday evening being notified of 5 new cases, 41 active, 2 active hospitalizations, 967 total cases, 24 deaths.
