Havre High cross country finishes in the middle of the pack at Hardin Invitational

Havre's Emma Gillen runs at the Havre Invite last fall. At the Hardin Invitational this past weekend, the HHS boys team finished fourth and the HHS girls team finished sixth.

After winning her first meet as the Havre High cross country head coach to open the season, Erin Lynch hoped to repeat that success when her team competed in the Hardin Invitational this past Friday. While the Blue Ponies did not reach those same heights, the boys team finished fourth and the girls team took sixth.

The HHS boys team took fourth with a score of 94 points. Hardin took first in the boys meet with a score of 20 points while Laurel finished second and Miles City finished third. On their boys team, the Ponies were led by Caleb Tomac who took first in his second straight meet. A...
