State and local COVID-19 update, Sept. 8, 2021

The Montana state COVID tracking map after this morning’s update listed 1,041 new cases, 6,680 active cases, 301 hospitalizations and 1,828 deaths. The cumulative total for the state as 131,752 cases.

Blaine County Health Department reported Tuesday evening being notified of 23 new cases from Saturday through Tuesday, 42 active, no active hospitalizations listed, 992 total cases, 24 deaths.

Hill County Health Department reported Tuesday evening that 36 new cases were reported, 108 active, 6 active hospitalizations, 2,375 total cases, 48 deaths.

Fort Belknap reported Tuesday evening, also reported on either Blaine or Phillips County numbers, 11 new cases from Saturday through Tuesday, 17 active, no active hospitalizations, 558 total cases, 12 deaths.

Liberty County, reported on the state update this morning, had 5 new cases, 12 active, 163 total cases, 1 death.

Chouteau County, reported on the state update this morning, had 5 new cases, 16 active, 548 total cases, 7 deaths.
