State and local COVID-19 update, Sept. 14, 2021

The Montana state COVID tracking map after this morning’s update listed 1,249 new cases, 6,756 active cases, 362 hospitalizations and 1,847 deaths. The cumulative total for the state was 136,175 cases.

Blaine County Health Department reported Monday evening being notified of 28 new cases from Friday through Monday, 66 active, no active hospitalizations listed, 1,037 total cases, 24 deaths.

Hill County Health Department reported Monday evening that 63 new cases were reported from Saturday through Monday, 137 active, 7 active hospitalizations, 2,516 total cases, 49 deaths.

Rocky Boy reported Monday, also reported on either Chouteau or Hill County numbers, 13 new cases, 65 active, 1 active hospitalization, 953 total cases. It has had 8 deaths.

Fort Belknap reported Monday evening, also reported on either Blaine or Phillips County numbers, 5 new cases, 23 active, no active hospitalizations, 573 total cases, 12 deaths.

Liberty County Public Health reported Monday 12 new COVID-19 case confirmations over 72 hours, 15 active, 175 total cases, 1 death.

Chouteau County, reported on the state update this morning, had 4 new cases, 16 active, 563 total cases, 7 deaths.

People can visit the state tracking map, normally updated between 10 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. each day, online through links at https://montana.maps.arcgis.com and at https://covid19.mt.gov .

People can find online where vaccines are available in their area through https://vaccinefinder.org, operated by Boston’s Children’s Hospital and supported by Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the United States Digital Service.
