State and local COVID-19 update, Sept. 15, 2021

The Montana state COVID tracking map after this morning’s update listed 1,183 new cases, 8,670 active cases, 364 hospitalizations and 1,858 deaths. The cumulative total for the state as 137,389 cases.

Blaine County Health Department reported Tuesday evening being notified of 11 new cases, 70 active, no active hospitalizations listed, 1,048 total cases, 24 deaths.

Hill County Health Department reported Tuesday evening that 35 new cases were reported, 162 active, 7 active hospitalizations, 2,551 total cases, 49 deaths.

Rocky Boy reported Tuesday, also reported on either Chouteau or Hill County numbers, 12 new cases, 72 active, 1 active hospitalization, 885 total cases. It has had 8 deaths.

Fort Belknap reported Tuesday evening, also reported on either Blaine or Phillips County numbers, 4 new cases, 27 active, no active hospitalizations, 583 total cases, 12 deaths.

Liberty County reported on the state update this morning, had 1 new case, 16 active, 209 total cases, 1 death.

Chouteau County reported on the state update this morning, had 4 new cases, 19 active, 567 total cases, 7 deaths.

People can visit the state tracking map, normally updated between 10 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. each day, online through links at https://montana.maps.arcgis.com and at https://covid19.mt.gov .

People can find online where vaccines are available in their area through https://vaccinefinder.org, operated by Boston’s Children’s Hospital and supported by Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the United States Digital Service.
