State and local COVID-19 update, Sept. 16, 2021

The Montana state COVID tracking map was not updated by press deadline this morning.

Blaine County Health Department reported Wednesday evening being notified of 10 new cases, 77 active, no active hospitalizations listed, 1,058 total cases, 24 deaths.

Hill County Health Department reported Wednesday evening that 11 new cases were reported, 167 active, 6 active hospitalizations, 2,562 total cases, 49 deaths.

Rocky Boy reported Wednesday, also reported on either Chouteau or Hill County numbers, 7 new cases, 75 active, 1 active hospitalization, 972 total cases. It has had 8 deaths.

Fort Belknap reported Wednesday evening, also reported on either Blaine or Phillips County numbers, 6 new cases, 31 active, no active hospitalizations, 589 total cases, 12 deaths.

Liberty County — latest data not available.

Chouteau County — latest data not available.

People can visit the state tracking map, normally updated between 10 and 11:30 a.m. each day, online through links at https://montana.maps.arcgis.com and at https://covid19.mt.gov .

People can find online where vaccines are available in their area through https://vaccinefinder.org, operated by Boston’s Children’s Hospital and supported by Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the United States Digital Service.
