Havre Police Department

Stephanie Rita Small of Havre, 38, was arrested on a criminal contempt charge related to a 24/7 Sobriety Program no show reported at the police station Thursday at 8 a.m.

A 15-year-old was issued a summons on a charge of underage tobacco possession or consumption reported at 11:01 a.m. Thursday at Havre High School.

Another summons was issued on a charge of underage tobacco possession or consumption reported Thursday at 1:01 p.m. at Havre High School, but no details on charges were provided.

Officers investigated a hit and run crash after a Thursday at 2:43 p.m. caller reported a silver Kia left the scene westbound on Third Street.

A caller at a 10th Street West facility reported Thursday at 3:03 p.m. that a parent hadn't come for their kids.

--

A Thursday 8:14 p.m. caller at a First Street West business reported a light pole had been hit.

Mary Ruth Demontiney of Rocky Boy, 60, was arrested on a disorderly conduct charge and a Justice or City court warrant after a caller at the hospital reported a patient was being belligerent Thursday at 11:04 p.m.

Ariel Christine Jones of Havre, 28, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant after a 14th Street caller reported two people arguing in the street at 1:53 a.m. today.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Morissa Lee Nagel of Box Elder, 29, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant served at Hill County Detention Center Thursday at 7:37 a.m.

Douglas Darius Hofer of Harlem, 34, was arrested on an aggravated driving under the influence charge after a complaint was called in from U.S. Highway 2 Northwest Thursday at 11 a.m.

Lana Standing Chief of Havre, 40, was arrested on a charge of driving with a suspended or revoked driver's license after a vehicle stop on U.S. Highway 2 East at 4:47 p.m. Thursday.

McKayla Gayle White of Box Elder, 29, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant served at the emergency room Thursday at 8:55 p.m.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to six calls Thursday and one early this morning.

Firefighters responded to a mutual aid call with Bear Paw Volunteer Fire Department for a vehicle fire near mile marker 103 on U.S. Highway 87 at 9:15 a.m. Thursday. Assistant Fire Chief Nathan Courtnage said the vehicle was damaged from fire that spread from a tire into the engine compartment. The fire was contained to the vehicle and no one was injured in the incident. Havre Fire turned the scene over to the Bear Paw crew.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held four cats, two 16-week-old kittens, a 6-month-old kitten, two 11-week-old kittens, a 5-week-old kitten and seven 21-week-old kittens all of unknown gender, three female cats, two male 10-week-old kittens, a female 7-month-old kitten and a male 15-week-old kitten.

The shelter also held a female 8-month-old mixed-breed puppy, a male catahoula leopard dog, a female 19-week-old mixed-breed puppy, a male shepherd dog and a male husky dog. Also being held separately were a female and a male 8-week-old puppies and a male 7-month-old puppy, all of mixed breed.

A girl was born Tuesday, Sept. 14, 2021, to Chelsea Lohman and Salvador Rivera of Havre
