State and local COVID-19 update, Sept. 22, 2021

A new COVID-19-related death was reported Tuesday in the Hill County Health Department COVID-19 update. It reported 23 new cases were reported, 147 active, 6 active hospitalizations, 2,701 total cases, 52 total deaths.

Blaine County, reported on the state update this morning, had 4 new cases, 36 active, 967 total cases, 24 deaths.

Rocky Boy reported Tuesday, also reported on either Chouteau or Hill County numbers, 5 new cases, 47 active, 2 active hospitalizations, 995 total cases. It has reported 8 deaths.

Fort Belknap reported Tuesday evening, also reported on either Blaine or Phillips County numbers, 3 new cases, 20 active, no active hospitalizations, 602 total cases, 12 deaths.

Liberty County, reported on the state update this morning, had 3 new cases, 37 active, 202 total cases, 1 death.

Chouteau County, reported on the state update this morning, had 10 new cases, 14 active, 585 total cases, 7 deaths.

The Montana state COVID tracking map after this morning’s update listed 1,326 new cases, 10,296 active cases, 395 hospitalizations and 1,914 deaths. The cumulative total for the state as 143,826 cases.

People can find online where vaccines are available in their area through https://vaccinefinder.org, operated by Boston’s Children’s Hospital and supported by Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the United States Digital Service.
