State and local COVID-19 updates, Sept. 28, 2021

The Montana state COVID tracking map after this morning’s update listed 1,202 new cases, 11,416 active cases, 427 hospitalizations and 1,989 deaths. The cumulative total for the state was 148,490 cases.

Blaine County reported on the state update this morning, had 4 new cases, 27 active, 976 total cases, 24 deaths.

Hill County Health Department reported Monday evening that another COVID-19-related death occurred over the weekend and that 18 new cases were reported Friday and 43 were reported Saturday through Monday. Hill County had 144 active cases Monday, 10 active hospitalizations, 53 deaths.

Rocky Boy reported Monday, also reported on either Chouteau or Hill county numbers, reported another COVID-19-related death and 16 new cases, 65 active, 2 active hospitalizations, 1,033 total cases. It has had 9 deaths.

Fort Belknap reported Monday evening, also reported on either Blaine or Phillips County numbers, 11 new cases Friday through Monday, 25 active, no active hospitalizations, 624 total cases, 12 deaths.

Liberty County, reported on the state update this morning, had 6 new cases, 39 active, 224 total cases, 1 death.

Chouteau County, reported on the state update this morning, had an eighth death listed. It had no new cases listed, 28 active, 603 total cases.
