Havre Police Department

A 6:31 a.m. Wednesday caller on U.S. Highway 2 West reported that an injured deer needed assistance.

A 15-year-old was issued a summons on a charge of under age tobacco possession or consumption at the police department Wednesday at 9:14 a.m.

Officers investigated a First Street caller's Wednesday 11:37 a.m. report of an identity theft incident.

--

A cross report of a sex offense was made to officers Wednesday at 12:35 p.m.

A 15-year-old was arrested on charges of assault and probation violation after a caller at Havre High School reported Wednesday at 1:38 p.m. a boy had struck a teacher.

Officers investigated an incident in which a vehicle struck a man at a First Street business Wednesday at 4:56 p.m.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Deputies investigated a 12:25 p.m. Wednesday report that a geogrid was stolen out of a pickup while it was parked at a U.S. Highway 2 West business.

A theft, forgery or fraud was reported at a U.S. Highway 2 West business Wednesday at 3:51 p.m.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to seven calls Wednesday.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held two cats and eight kittens of varying ages all of unknown gender, two female cats, two female 22-week-old kittens, one male cat, one male 12-week-old kitten, one male 23-week-old kitten and a female 8-month-old kitten.

The shelter also held three female and one male 11-week-old mixed-breed puppies, a female mixed-breed dog, a male mixed-breed dog, a male 8-month-old mixed-breed puppy, a female 20-week-old mixed-breed puppy and a male husky dog.
