Havre Police Department

Two summonses were issued after officers investigated a fight Friday at 8:10 a.m. at Havre Middle School. No details on the charges were provided.

Someone stopped at the police station Friday at 8:15 asking to speak with an officer about a Thursday call.

A Fourth Avenue caller reported Friday at 9:07 a.m. that solar lights had been stolen from the yard.

Friday at 10:41 a.m., a caller on Third Avenue reported that vehicle had been broken into and items stolen.

——

Officers investigated a Friday 11:16 a.m. crash in which a driver backed into another vehicle on Fifth Street.

Tawny Sue Campbell of Havre, 32, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant after a caller at a First Street West business reported at 12:23 p.m. Friday the theft of $1,515 worth of services.

Garrett Michael Hentschel of Havre, 24, was arrested on a trespass to property charge, after a caller at a First Street establishment reported a possible fight outside at 1:03 a.m. Saturday.

Gary Rideshorse Jr. of Pryor, 46, was arrested on charges of driving under the influence, failure to yield to an emergency vehicle, no vehicle insurance and stop sign violation after a vehicle stop on First Street Saturday at 2:26 a.m.

Officers assisted another agency with an investigation on Second Street at 4:17 a.m.

Malisha Lahr of Havre, 34, was issued a summons on charges of failure to give notice of an accident, failure to stop and identify self after striking an unattended vehicle and driving with a suspended or revoked driver’s license, and Peter I. Smith of Havre, 37, was issued a summons on a charge of driving without vehicle insurance after a caller on Bonine Drive reported a hit and run crash Saturday at 5:22 p.m.

A Third Street caller reported Sunday at 12:57 a.m. that a neighbor was assaulted by a woman.

Gabriel Lewis Lawrence of Havre, 51, was arrested on a charge of driving with a suspended or revoked driver’s license after a vehicle stop in the First Street alley Sunday at 9:10 a.m.

Officers investigated a Sunday 3:15 p.m. report of signs of an attempted break-in at a U.S. Highway 2 East business.

April Dawn Chiefstick of Box Elder, 46, was arrested on charges of trespass to property and obstructing a peace officer or other public servant after a Sunday 5:34 p.m. caller on Second Street reported returning home and finding an unknown woman sleeping on the couch.

Officers assisted Child and Family Services with an investigated Monday at 12:31 a.m. in the Havre area.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Petra Lynn Raven of Havre, 31, was arrested on a vandalism charge reported at Hill County Detention Center Friday at 10:26 a.m.

Deputies were called Friday at 1:23 p.m. to assist someone in the county.

——

A caller 10 miles north of Havre reported Friday at 2:57 p.m. finding and injured dog.

——

A theft, forgery or fraud was reported at a U.S. Highway 2 West business at 1:22 p.m. Saturday.

——

Harold James Watson of Box Elder, 36, was arrested on a shoplifting charge after a caller on U.S. Highway 2 West reported a theft Saturday at 7:08 p.m.

——

Deputies were called to assist another agency with an unresponsive male on Bullhook Road Southeast Saturday at 10:53 p.m.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to five calls Friday, nine calls Saturday, seven calls Sunday and one call early this morning.

Firefighters responded to a 9:48 a.m. Friday call about a gas leak from a vehicle in a parking lot on the 200 Block of Second Street. The gas was cleaned up with absorbent material.

Firefighters responded to a 7:13 p.m. Sunday report of a grease fire on the 400 Block of Third Avenue. The fire was mostly extinguished by the time they arrived on scene, so firefighters assisted with the last flames and made sure the fire was fully extinguished before leaving the scene.

Firefighters were called Sunday at 9:10 p.m. to the 10 Block of Third Street West to reset a fire alarm triggered by burnt popcorn.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held 10 kittens of varying ages and two cats all of unknown gender, two female cats, two female 23-week-old kittens, one male cat and one male 24-week-old kitten.

The shelter also held three female and one male 12-week-old mixed-breed puppies, a female mixed-breed dog, a male mixed-breed dog, a male 8-month-old mixed-breed puppy, a female 21-week-old mixed-breed puppy and a male husky dog.
