State and local COVID-19 update, Oct. 8, 2021

The Montana state COVID tracking map after this morning’s update listed 1,315 new cases, 12,539 active cases, 463 hospitalizations and 2,079 deaths. The cumulative total for the state was 158,680 cases.

Blaine County Health Department reported Thursday evening being notified of 8 new cases, 136 active, 6 active hospitalizations, 1,243 total cases, 24 deaths.

Hill County, reported on the state update this morning, had 9 new cases. the data on the state map conflicted with the Hill County Health Department”s report Wednesday, which listed 203 active, 11 active hospitalizations, 3,019 to...
