State and local COVID-19 update, Oct. 11, 2021

Hill County Health Department reported Friday evening that another COVID-19-related death was confirmed in the county, and 22 new cases were reported Thursday and Friday, 191 active, 14 active hospitalizations, 3,041 total cases, 56 deaths.

The state tracking map was not updated today. After Friday morning’s update listed 1,315 new cases, 12,539 active cases, 463 hospitalizations and 2,079 deaths. The cumulative total for the state was 158,680 cases.

Blaine County, reported on the Montana state COVID tracking after Friday morning’s update, had 15 new cases. The Blaine County Health Department’s last update, posted Thursday evening, listed 136 active cases, six active hospitalizations, 1,243 total cases and 24 deaths.

Rocky Boy reported Friday, also reported on either Chouteau or Hill County numbers, 11 new cases, 59 active, 5 active hospitalizations, 1,103 total cases. It has had 10 deaths.

Fort Belknap reported Friday evening, also reported on either Blaine or Phillips County numbers, 5 new cases, 51 active, 1 active hospitalization, 629 total cases, 12 deaths.

Liberty County, reported on the Montana state COVID tracking after Friday morning’s update, had 2 new cases, 25 active, 245 total cases, 1 death.

Chouteau County, reported on the Montana state COVID tracking after Friday morning’s update, had 2 new cases, 14 active, 633 total cases, 8 deaths.
