Havre Police Department

Officers investigated a gun theft reported from Eighth Street Monday at 8:59 a.m.

Kenneth Wayne Kooch of Havre, 79, was issued a summons on a charge of disorderly conduct after a caller at a Fourth Street facility reported Monday at 10:20 a.m. that a couple was having inappropriate behavior in the bathroom.

Officers investigated a Monday 4:31 p.m. complaint that someone is throwing trash on vehicles left out at night on Boulevard Avenue.

--

A machete was reported found at the skate park Monday at 4:58 p.m.

--

Officers investigated a vehicle theft reported from First Street at 11:28 p.m. Monday.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Deputies investigated a Friday 8:57 a.m. report that a burglary had occurred on Sixth Street North.

A Friday 7:41 p.m. report of a vehicle hitting a cow near Kiwanis Campground was referred to Montana Highway Patrol.

--

Jenadee Ray Morsette of Havre, 26, was arrested on two Justice or City court warrants and charges of violation of child restraint and driving with a suspended or revoked driver's license during a vehicle stop at Eighth Street and Third Avenue South in Box Elder.

Deputies investigated an assault reported from Box Elder Saturday at 2 p.m.

Deputies were called Sunday at 3 p.m. to assist Havre Police officers.

Monteith Denard Hicks of Eastpointe, Michigan, was arrested on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia after deputies were called Sunday at 3:49 p.m. to assist at a check point off upper Box Elder Road.

--

Monday at 4:15 p.m., a customer at a U.S. Highway 2 West business reported that someone stole their purse.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to four calls Monday.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held six kittens of varying ages and of unknown gender, three female cats, two female 24-week-old kittens, one male cat, one female 17-week-old kitten and one male 25-week-old kitten.

The shelter also held a female mixed-breed dog, four 16-week-old puppies of unlisted gender, a female 21-week-old pit bull puppy, two male mixed-breed dogs, a female 22-week-old mixed-breed puppy, a male husky dog and a male border collie-German shepherd cross dog. Also, a male and a female 8-week-old mixed-breed puppies were being held separately.
