State and local COVID-19 update, Oct. 12, 2021

The Montana state COVID tracking map after this morning’s update listed 2,227 new cases, 12,333 active cases, 489 hospitalizations and 2,094 deaths. The cumulative total for the state was 160,896 cases.

Blaine County did not have a current update. Thursday evening the Blaine County Health Department reported 136 active cases with 6 active hospitalizations, 1,243 total cases and 24 deaths. The data on the state update this morning did not match Thursday’s data.

Hill County did not have a current update. Friday evening the Hill County Health Department reported 191 active cases, 14 active hospitalizations, 3,041 total cases and 56 deaths. The data on the state update this morning did not match Friday’s data.

Rocky Boy reported Monday evening, also reported on either Chouteau or Hill County numbers, 1 new case, 51 active, 6 active hospitalizations, 1,104 total cases. It has had 10 deaths.

Fort Belknap, current data not available.

Liberty County, reported on the state update this morning, had 2 new cases, 17 active, 247 total cases, 1 death.

Chouteau County, reported on the state update this morning, had 1 new case, 10 active, 635 total cases, 8 deaths.
