Joplin’s Fall Vendor Show, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m., Joplin Golden Triangle Center, with dozens of vendors and a free-will donation taco soup lunch that will benefit Hi-Line Women Against Breast Cancer.

Monday, Oct. 25

Lap Swim, 6 - 9 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m., Havre Community Pool.

Photography, a five-week Community Ed class, 6 - 7:30 p.m., Havre High Room 28, covering basic principles, composition, and practice taking photos. Students will need to bring a digital camera with an SD card, or an iPhone and one disposable camera and, if possible, a laptop to weeks 4 and 5. To register call Community Education, 406-395-6716.

Tuesday, Oct. 26

Bullhook Blossom Garden Club meeting, 1:30 p.m., Hagener Science Center of MSU-N. The club will honor the late Toni Hagener. Afterward members will go to the Timmons Room of Hill County Courthouse. Delegates will report on the Montana State Convention. This is our last meeting until January.

Burger Feed fundraiser, 5:30 - 6:30 p.m., Eagles Club. Meal includes salad, baked beans, chips and all the fixings with 1/4-pound burger, $7, and double burger, $8. All proceeds, along with some proceeds from 6:30 p.m. bingo, go toward the current Eagles Club project.

Harp music, 4 p.m., Havre-Hill County Library. This event with Barb Zuck is free and open to the public.

Knife Skills for the kitchen, a Community Ed class, 6 - 8 p.m., Havre Middle School Room 162, with Extension Agent Kati Purkett teaching all about knives from buying to holding one, how to dice, slice, chop, julienne and more, plus a few garnishing tricks. Introduction to Aviation, a four-week Community Ed class, T/Th 6 - 7 p.m. Havre High Media Room 11B. Though it's not pilot ground school, this class will give participants ground-floor exposure to flying with topics including flight controls, avionics, communication, navigation, weather, airport layout, costs, safety, fun and some rules and regulations.
