Havre Police Department

Officers responded to a Thursday 9:04 a.m. report for a Havre area caller that her ex was stalking her.

Lana Standing Chief of Havre, 40, was arrested on a criminal contempt charge after a 15th Avenue caller reported a female trespasser Thursday at 9:41 a.m.

Officers investigated a Thursday 3:58 p.m. report that someone had broken into the caller's trailer on Second Street.

Larae Ann Sunchild of Havre, 40, was arrested on a partner or family member assault charge after a caller on First Street reported a man and woman fighting in the alley Thursday at 3:59 p.m.

An arrest was made after a caller reported a man who was kicked out of a room was passed out in the hallway Thursday at 6:44 p.m. on Ninth Avenue. No details on the charges were provided.

Officers investigated suspicious activity on Second Street Thursday at 9:06 p.m.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Sheriff's office dispatch log reported no arrests, summonses or investigations during the 24-hour reporting period.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to three calls Thursday.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held six kittens of varying ages and of unknown gender, three female cats, one female 24-week-old kitten, one male cat, one female 17-week-old kitten and one male 25-week-old kitten.

The shelter also held two female mixed-breed dogs, four female 17-week-old mixed-breed puppies, a female 22-week-old pit bull puppy, three male mixed-breed dogs, a male 23-week-old mixed-breed puppy, a male Labrador retriever dog and a male border collie-German shepherd cross dog. Also, a male and a female 9-week-old mixed-breed puppies were being held separately.
