State and local COVID-19 update, Oct. 18, 2021

The Montana state COVID tracking map update, including for Liberty and Chouteau counties, was not available by printing deadline this morning.

Blaine County Health Department reported Friday evening being notified of 13 new cases, 95 active, 4 active hospitalizations, 1,298 total cases, 25 deaths.

Hill County Health Department reported Friday evening that 21 new cases were reported, 120 active, 14 active hospitalizations, 3,137 total cases, 56 deaths.

Rocky Boy reported Friday, also reported on either Chouteau or Hill County numbers, 4 new cases, 39 active, 4 active hospitalizations, 1,123 total cases. It has had 10 deaths.

Fort Belknap latest data not available.

People can visit the state tracking map, normally updated between 10 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. each day, online through links at https://montana.maps.arcgis.com and at https://covid19.mt.gov .

People can find online where vaccines are available in their area through https://vaccinefinder.org, operated by Boston’s Children’s Hospital and supported by Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the United States Digital Service.
