Northern's Dylan Wampler makes a tackle against Simon Fraser University at Tilleman Field on Saturday. In the 30-3 loss, Wampler recorded three takeaways for the Lights including an interception and two fumble recoveries.
Despite the loss, the Lights had some bright spots on the defensive side of the ball. One of those bright spots was junior linebacker Dylan Wampler. He was all over the field against Simon Fraser University as he led the team with 11 total tackles and 3.5 tackles for loss. He now has 73 tackles through seven games this season.
