State and local COVID-19 update, Oct. 20

Hill County Health Department reported Tuesday evening that the county had two more deaths and 22 new cases, 105 active, 12 active hospitalizations, 3,184 total cases, 60 total deaths.

Blaine County Health Department reported Tuesday evening being notified of 13 new cases, 83 active, 4 active hospitalizations, 1,329 total cases, 25 deaths.

Rocky Boy reported Tuesday, also reported on either Chouteau or Hill county numbers, 7 new cases, 38 active, 3 active hospitalizations, 1,133 total cases. It has had 10 deaths.

Fort Belknap reported Tuesday evening, also reported on either Blaine or Phillips county numbers, 5 new cases, 22 active, 1 active hospitalizations, 715 total cases, 1 deaths.

Liberty County, reported on the state update this morning, had 1 new cases, 10 active, 253 total cases, 1 death.

Chouteau County, reported on the state update this morning, had 3 new cases, 12 active, 665 total cases, 8 deaths.

The Montana state COVID tracking map after this morning’s update listed 1,250 new cases, 11,044 active cases, 446 hospitalizations and 2,225 deaths. The cumulative total for the state was 168,513 cases.

People can find online where vaccines are available in their area through https://vaccinefinder.org, operated by Boston’s Children’s Hospital and supported by Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the United States Digital Service.
