This past week marked the end of the regular season for both the Big Sandy Pioneers and North Star Knights. The Pioneers are headed to the Six-Man playoffs once again.

The Big Sandy Pioneers had been on a tear lately with six straight wins over the last month. However, their strong play came to a crashing halt as they lost, 44-0, to Power/Dutton/Brady on the road this past Wednesday night.

The high-power Pioneer offense had been on a roll this season averaging 43.5 points per game so Wednesday's result showcases how strong the Titans are on defense. Big Sandy could also not hold down the PDB offense that now averages 41 points a game this season. PDB finishes the regular season with an 8-1 record and heads into the six-man football playoffs as the No. 1...
