Obituary - Allan Leens

Allan Leens, age 73, died October 21, 2021, from complications of a recent heart surgery.  He was born in Havre, MT, January 19, 1948.

After graduating from Havre Central High he lived in Seattle for a short time before returning to Havre to go to work for Burlington Northern Railroad. In 1983 he purchased the Shanty Bar until retiring in 2004.

He was preceded in death by his father, Emil Leens, mother, Vera (Ceynar. Leens. 

He  is survived by his wife of 49 years, Susan (Davey. Leens; brother, Larry (Lavern. Leens, Missoula; sister, Linda Strong, Havre; daughters, Angelie Leens, Tara (Nate. Ereckson, Mary (Matt. Corcoran; grandchildren, Kolby Ereckson, Alexis Ereckson, Susan Leens, Jared Brodeur, Madison Corcoran and Abbey Corcoran; many more relatives and friends to numerous to mention.

Cremation has taken place and per Allan's request there will be no funeral. A celebration of life will be held at the Shanty Bar November 13th at 2 p.m.
