State and local COVID-19 update, Nov. 2, 2021

The Montana state COVID tracking map after this morning’s update listed 1,144 new cases, 9,506 active cases, 371 hospitalizations and 2,380 deaths. The cumulative total for the state was 178,114 cases.

Blaine County, reported on the state update this morning, had 27 new cases listed over the weekend. The state map data on several items did not match the numbers on the county health department update Saturday, which then listed 82 active cases — which may include some of the state map’s new cases listed today — 3 active hospitalizations, 1,402 total cases, 26 deaths.

Fort Belknap, reported Monday evening, also reported on either Blaine or Phillips County numbers, 10 new cases from Friday through Monday, 24 active, no active hospitalizations, 744 total cases, 10 deaths.

Hill County Health Department reported Monday evening that 25 new cases were reported from Saturday through Monday, 68 active, 12 active hospitalizations, 3,193 total cases, 63 deaths.

Rocky Boy reported Monday evening, also reported on either Chouteau or Hill County numbers, 5 new cases, 26 active, 1 active hospitalization, 1,162 total cases. It has had 10 deaths.

Liberty County reported on the state update this morning, had 1 new case, 9 active, 260 total cases, 2 deaths.

Chouteau County, reported on the state update this morning, had 10 new cases, 36 active, 721 total cases, 8 deaths.

People can visit the state tracking map, normally updated between 10 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. each day, online through links at https://montana.maps.arcgis.com and at https://covid19.mt.gov .

People can find online where vaccines are available in their area through https://vaccinefinder.org, operated by Boston’s Children’s Hospital and supported by Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the United States Digital Service.
