Havre Police Department

Eric Charles Holmes of Havre, 54, was issued a summons on a charge of vicious dog after a caller on 10th Street asked Friday at 11:44 a.m. to speak with an officer because their dog was attacked by a neighbor dog during the night.

A sex offense was reported at the police station Friday at 3:38 p.m.

Officers investigated a Third Avenue caller's Friday 6:13 p.m. request for assistance.

Kenneth Francis Blackcrow Sr. of Hays, 47, was arrested on a disorderly conduct charge and a Justice or City court warrant after a caller at a First Street establishment reported a man fighting other people.

Jordan Nash Windyboy of Rocky Boy, 38, was arrested on two Justice or City court warrants after a juvenile reported a person causing a disturbance Friday at 9:21 p.m. on Fourth Street.

Clinton Young Bear Jr. of Harlem, 60, was arrested on a disorderly conduct charge after a caller at a First Street West business reported Friday at 10:31 p.m. that an intoxicated man was harassing patrons.

Martin Duane Flying Jr. of Havre, 29, was arrested on a partner or family member assault charge after a caller at a Second Street business reported a disturbance involving a belligerent man Saturday at 8:09 a.m.

Sunny Mary Whiteman of Havre, 32, was issued a summons on charges of vicious dog and dog at large after a caller on Montana Avenue reported at 11:51 a.m. Saturday that three dogs were running loose and charged the mail delivery person, and the dogs were reported found at 12:14 p.m. on Sixth Street.

Dane Justin Haley of Box Elder, 35, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant and a charge of theft after a shoplifter was reported by a caller at a First Street business Saturday at 3:07 p.m.

Leah Marie Goggles of Havre, 37, was issued a summons on a charge of obscene phone call related to a complaint made at 11:07 p.m. Saturday on First Street Northeast.

An arrest was made after a caller at a First Street establishment reported a fight Sunday at 12:03 a.m. No details were provided about the charges.

Officers investigated a 6:49 a.m. Sunday burglar alarm notification at the back door of a First Street establishment.

Officers investigated a report from Grant Avenue Sunday at 9:13 a.m. that items were missing from a garage.

Bruce James Grant of Havre, 58, and Sunny Mary Whiteman of Havre, 32, were each issued a summons on charges of dog at large and aggressive animal after a caller reported three dogs were, again, reported running loose, this time on 11th Street West.

Officers investigated a report of an apparent break-in attempt at a First Street establishment reported Sunday at 10:23 a.m.

A vehicle crash was reported on First Street West Sunday at 12:43 p.m.

A caller at a First Street business reported Sunday at 3:44 p.m. that items had been stolen.

Shana Rae Chiefstick of Box Elder, 47, was arrested on a trespass to property charge after a caller on Third Street reported a woman had tried to walk into his house Sunday at 7 p.m.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Alex Cornell of Havre, 18, was arrested on charges of assault and criminal mischief vandalism after a caller at a Sixth Street North facility reported a man fighting other people at 2:48 a.m. Saturday.

Deputies investigated a complaint maid Saturday at 3:17 p.m. at Hill County Detention Center.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to three calls Friday, nine calls Saturday and three calls Sunday.

Firefighters responded with two trucks Friday at 5:24 p.m. to a grass fire along the railroad tracks near mile marker 376 of U.S. Highway 2 West. While putting out the first fire, a second was noticed and put out as well. In total only about 1.3 acres were burned.

Firefighters were called Saturday at 10:04 p.m. to a fire in a shed on the 1000 Block of 17th Street West, but no fire was found.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held two cats and two kittens all of unknown gender, five female cats, four male cats, one male 13-week-old kitten, and a female and a male six-month-old kittens.

The shelter also held a male shepherd, a male 9-month-old mixed-breed puppy, a male pit bull, two female mixed-breed dogs, a female and a male 21-week-old Labrador retriever puppies, a female 21-week-old border collie-Australian cattle dog-blue heeler puppy, a male mixed-breed dog and a male Labrador retriever. Also, a male and a female 12-week-old mixed-breed puppies and a female 10-month-old mixed-breed puppy were being held separately.
