The Montana Department of Transportation announced — and invited the public to comment on — a proposal to resurface approximately 9.5 miles of U.S. Highway 2, east of Havre.
The project begins at 22nd Ave. N. and extends east for approximately 9.5 miles ending near a private approach near mile marker 393.
Proposed work includes milling the existing surface, applying a new overlay, and finishing with a chip seal. The project also includes new pavement markings, installation of new roadway signs, and guardrail updates. The purpose of the proj...
