State and local COVID-19 update, Nov. 15, 2021

The Montana state COVID tracking map after this morning’s update listed 785 new cases, 6,991 active cases, 316 hospitalizations and 2,490 deaths. The cumulative total for the state was 185,176 cases.

Hill County Health Department said in its update Friday that 24 new cases were reported and 18 met the criteria to be considered recovered with 61 active cases in the county, 1 person was hospitalized and 1 was discharged with 8 active hospitalizations. The county has had 65 deaths.

Blaine County Health Department said in its update Friday that it was notified of no new cases and 14 met the criteria to be considered recovered with 55 active cases in the county and 2 active hospitalizations. The county has had 27 deaths.

Rocky Boy Health Center, also reported on the Chouteau or Hill County numbers, listed Friday 3 new cases and 2 recoveries with 14 active cases, no active hospitalizations and 1,185 total cases. The reservation has had 10 deaths.

Fort Belknap Indian Community, also listed on the Blaine or Phillips county numbers, listed Friday 1 new case from Thursday through Friday and 7 met the criteria to be considered recovered with 19 active cases on the reservation and no people hospitalized. The reservation has had 12 deaths

Liberty County, reported on the state update this morning, had no new cases, 5 active, 264 total cases, 2 deaths.

Chouteau County, reported on the state update this morning, had 1 new case, 7 active, 751 total cases, 8 deaths.

People can visit the state tracking map, normally updated between 10 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. each day, online through links at https://montana.maps.arcgis.com and at https://covid19.mt.gov .

People can find online where vaccines are available in their area through https://vaccinefinder.org, operated by Boston’s Children’s Hospital and supported by Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the United States Digital Service.
