Area spikers tabbed for postseason honors

A host of Hi-Line volleyball players have been honored for their outstanding play this past season.

The District 7C released its All-Conference Team and All-State players on Monday, with three area standouts being named Class C All-State in Chinook's Bree Swanson, Fort Benton's Emerson Giese and Chester-Joplin-Inverness' Tatum Hull.

The 7C All-Conference Team includes that trio, along with Chinook's Hallie Neibauer, Fort Benton's Ashlee Wang, Big Sandy's Amiya Griffith and North Star's Rainee Watson on the First Team.

The Second Team saw Chinook's Allison Powell, Fort Benton's Cloe Kalanick, CJI's Haddie Woods and Averie Mattson and North Star's Kira King and Laramie Peterson make the list.

The District 2B also released its postseason awards. Harlem's Jessica King was named First-Team All-Conference, while Chloe Messerly was named Second Team for the Wildcats.
