State and local COVID-19 update, Nov. 18, 2021

The Montana state COVID tracking map after this morning’s update listed 739 new cases, 6,855 active cases, 302 hospitalizations and 2,540 deaths. The cumulative total for the state was 187,530 cases.

Hill County Health Department said in its update Wednesday that 2 new cases were reported and 11 met the criteria to be considered recovered with 30 active cases in the county. The county had 10 active hospitalizations and has had 65 deaths.

Blaine County Health Department said in its update Wednesday that it was notified of 2 new cases and 8 met the criteria to be considered recovered with 26 active cases in the county. 1 person was hospitalized with 2 active hospitalizations in the county. Blaine county has had 27 deaths

Rocky Boy Health Center, also reported on the Chouteau or Hill County reports, reported 2 new cases and 1 met the criteria to be considered recovered with 14 active cases with no active hospitalizations. The reservation has had 10 deaths.

Fort Belknap Indian Community, also listed in the Blaine or Phillips county numbers, listed in its Wednesday update 1 new case and no people met the criteria to be considered recovered with 4 active cases on the reservation. The reservation had 1 active hospitalizations and has had 12 deaths

Liberty County, reported on the state update this morning, had no new cases, 2 active, 264 total cases, 2 deaths.

Chouteau County, reported on the state update this morning, had 2 new cases, 8 active, 758 total cases, 8 deaths.

People can find online where vaccines are available in their area through https://vaccinefinder.org, operated by Boston’s Children’s Hospital and supported by Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the United States Digital Service.
