State and local COVID-19 update, Nov. 19, 2021

The Montana state COVID tracking map after this morning’s update listed 500 new cases, 6,669 active cases, 271 hospitalizations and 2,547 deaths. The cumulative total for the state was 188,013 cases.

Hill County Health Department said in its update Thursday that 8 new cases were reported and 4 met the criteria to be considered recovered with 34 active cases in the county. The county had 10 active hospitalizations and has had 65 deaths.

Blaine County Health Department said in its update Thursday that it was notified of 1 new case and 9 met the criteria to be considered recovered with 18 active cases in the county. The county had 2 active hospitalizations and has had 27 deaths.

Rocky Boy Health Center, also reported on the Chouteau or Hill county reports, reported Thursday 4 new cases and 1 met the criteria to be considered recovered with 17 active cases in the reservation and no active hospitalizations. The reservation has had 10 deaths.

Fort Belknap Indian Community, also listed in the Blaine or Phillips county numbers, reported Thursday 1 new case and 1 met the criteria to be considered recovered with 4 active cases on the reservation and 1 active hospitalization. The reservation has had 12 deaths

Liberty County, reported on the state update this morning, had no new cases, 2 active, 264 total cases, 2 deaths.

Chouteau County, reported on the state update this morning, had no new cases, 8 active, 758 total cases, 8 deaths.

People can find online where vaccines are available in their area through https://vaccinefinder.org, operated by Boston’s Children’s Hospital and supported by Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the United States Digital Service.
