Someone stopped at the police station Tuesday at 9:15 a.m. to report a Paypal scam.

A two-vehicle, non-injury crash was reported on Seventh Avenue Tuesday at 3:33 p.m.

Jordan James Normandy of Havre, 27, was arrested on a charge of obstructing a peace officer or other public servant, and Amelia Rose Story of Havre, 34, was arrested on a charge of obstructing a peace officer or other public servant and on a Justice or City court warrant after a disturbance was reported on Second Street Northeast at 3:04 a.m. today.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Deputies investigated a sexual or violent offender registry complaint at 9:02 a.m. Tuesday.

James Murel Goldsmith Jr., homeless in Montana, 28, was arrested on three Justice or City court warrants served at Hill County Detention Center Tuesday at 10:23 a.m.

Deputies investigated a complaint reported on Eighth Avenue West at 12:18 p.m. Tuesday.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to two calls Tuesday and one call early this morning.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held two cats of unknown gender, five female cats, four male cats, one male 15-week-old kitten and one male and one female 7-month-old kittens.

The shelter also held a male shepherd, a male 9-month-old mixed-breed puppy, a male pit bull, two female mixed-breed dogs and a female 24-week-old border collie-Australian cattle dog-blue heeler cross puppy. Also, a male and a female 14-week-old mixed-breed puppies were being held separately.

Births

A boy was born Sunday, Nov. 21, 2021, to Heather and Jeff Hummert of Gildford.
