Havre Police Department

A Third Street caller reported at 8:19 a.m. Friday that a battery was stolen out of a 1995 Ford F150.

Friday at 11:59 a.m., an older white mountain bike was reported abandoned since Monday at a First Street business.

Officers assisted an ambulance on Fourth Street at 2:21 p.m. Friday.

--

Someone stopped Friday at 5:05 p.m. at the police station to speak with officers about harassment and stalking complaint.

A caller on First Street Northeast reported Saturday at 9:35 p.m. that items had been stolen from a van.

--

Officers opened an investigation after a Saturday 1:35 p.m. caller asked for assistance finding a family member who hadn't been heard from since October.

--

A caller on Fifth Street reported Saturday at 1:49 p.m. that a man she has a protection order against had been trying to contact her.

--

A Chevrolet Tahoe and pickup truck were reported 2:48 p.m. Saturday vandalized on Grant Avenue.

--

A Saturday 3:56 p.m. caller at a U.S. Highway 2 West business asked for assistance accessing a room for a possible medical emergency.

Sharon Grant of Havre, 80, was arrested on charges of driving under the influence and headlamp violation after a vehicle stop on Fourth Street Saturday at 8:54 p.m.

Kim Alan Ironbear of Havre, 49, was arrested on six Justice or City court warrants and a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia after an officer initiated investigation of suspicious activity on Fourth Avenue Sunday at 2:22 a.m.

A Beaver Creek Boulevard caller reported possible vandalism to a fence Sunday at 2:26 p.m.

--

A 16-year-old was arrested on a charge of partner or family member assault related to a Sunday 2:45 p.m. request by a 15th Street caller for assistance with a daughter.

--

An iPhone was reported found on Second Street Sunday at 3:09 p.m.

--

Coby John Stump of Box Elder, 36, was arrested on charges of obstructing a peace officer or other public servant, partner or family member assault and strangulation of a partner or family member and on three justice or city court warrants after a domestic disturbance was reported on Second Street Sunday at 11:42 p.m.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Deputies assisted with a civil standby Saturday at 10:38 a.m. on First Street.

A theft was reported Sunday at 9:46 a.m. in the Taylor Road area.

Aaron Nash Dale of Laredo, 29, was arrested on a disorderly conduct charge after callers on Fifth Street North asked for assistance removing an intoxicated man Sunday at 7:46 p.m.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to three calls Friday, seven calls Saturday, four calls Sunday and one call early this morning.

Firefighters responded to 7:14 a.m. Friday call on the 900 Block of Seventh Street where a gas leak was discovered at a meter, and the scene was turned over to a NorthWestern Energy crew.

Firefighters responded to a fire alarm on the 900 Block of Fourth Street at 4:49 p.m. Saturday. A grease fire had started, but was put out prior to the fire crew's arrival. The fire was contained to the stove and the only damage came from minimal smoke in the residence.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held two cats of unknown gender, five female cats, four male cats, one male 16-week-old kitten and one male and one female 7-month-old kittens.

The shelter also held a male shepherd, a male 9-month-old mixed-breed puppy, two male pit bull terriers and two female mixed-breed dogs. Also, a male and a female 15-week-old mixed-breed puppies were being held separately.
