State and local COVID-19 update, Dec. 1, 2021

The Montana state COVID tracking map after this morning’s update listed 585 new cases, 4,026 active cases, 220 hospitalizations and 2,722 deaths. The cumulative total for the state was 191,593 cases.

Hill County Health Department said in its update Wednesday that 2 new cases were reported and 3 met the criteria to be considered recovered with 3 active cases in the county and 3,493 total cases. No county residents were hospitalized. The county has had 71 deaths.

Blaine County Health Department said in its update Tuesday that it was notified of 3 new cases and 8 met the criteria to be considered recovered with 16 active cases in the county and 1,505 total cases. 1 person was discharged from the hospital and the county had 1 active hospitalization. Blaine County has had 28 deaths.

Rocky Boy Health Center, also reported on the Chouteau or Hill County reports, reported Tuesday no new cases and 5 met the criteria to be considered recovered with 1,198 total cases and no active hospitalizations. The reservation has had 10 deaths.

Fort Belknap Indian Community, also listed in the Blaine or Phillips county numbers, reported Tuesday 4 new cases and 3 met the criteria to be considered recovered with 14 active cases on the reservation, 798 total cases with 1 active hospitalization. The reservation has had 12 deaths

Liberty County, reported on the state update this morning, had no new cases, 3 active, 267 total cases, 2 deaths.

Chouteau County, reported on the state update this morning, had no new cases, 6 active, 775 total cases, 8 deaths.
