State and local COVID-19 update, Dec. 10, 2021

The Montana state COVID tracking map after this morning’s update listed 202 new cases, 2,827 active cases, 174 hospitalizations and 2.821 deaths. The cumulative total for the state was 193,718 cases.

Hill County Health Department said in its update Thursday that 4 new cases were reported and 1 met the criteria to be considered recovered with 13 active cases in the county and 3,515 total cases. No active hospitalizations. The county has had 71 deaths.

Blaine County Health Department said in its update Thursday that it was notified of 1 new case and 1 met the criteria to be considered recovered with 9 active cases in the county and 1,523 total cases. No active hospitalizations were listed. The county has had 29 deaths.

Rocky Boy Health Center, also reported on the Chouteau or Hill County reports, reported no new cases and none met the criteria to be considered recovered with 8 active cases and 1,206 total cases, no active hospitalizations. The reservation has had 10 deaths.

Fort Belknap Indian Community, also listed in the Blaine or Phillips county numbers, no new data released Thursday.

Liberty County, reported on the state update this morning, had no new cases, 1 active, 267 total cases, 2 deaths.

Chouteau County, reported on the state update this morning, had no new cases, 7 active, 784 total cases, 8 deaths.

People can find online where vaccines are available in their area through https://vaccinefinder.org, operated by Boston’s Children’s Hospital and supported by Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the United States Digital Service.
