Hunting for male mountain lions to close in some north-central districts

from Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks

The hunting of male mountain lions in hunting districts 416, 446, 451, 452 and 454 in north-central Montana closed at one-half hour after sunset Saturday, Dec. 18.  

The order halting the hunt came shortly after Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks officials received word that the pre-established harvest quota for the combined districts had been met.
