With a wealth of experience now under this belt, former Havre Blue Pony Parker Filius is full steam ahead for the Purdue Boilermakers.
Wrestling at 141 pounds, Filius, a two-time All Big-Ten standout, placed fifth at last weekend's Mattmen Open at the University of Illinois. Filius won four matches at the open tournament, which is a prelude to the upcoming Big-Ten season.
Heading into the conference season, Filius is 6-0 in duals, and also has a sixth-place finish the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational last month. Filius is currently ranked No. 13 for the Boilermakers, who are in the NCAA...
