Havre High lists students of the month

Lexie Lee is a Havre High School student of the month for December 2021.

She is the daughter of Kurt and Bridget Lee and has two siblings, Alison and Kody.

Lexie is a sophomore who is active in pep band, marching band, is a track manager and, when she's not busy with school activities, she babysits.

Cory Gunderson, who nominated Lexie, says she is "an absolute pleasure to have in class. She is always ready to learn with a positive attitude and a smile. The real reason I am nominating Lexie is that she goes above and beyond what is expected of her to help her fellow students. She will explain assignments to students who are gone, step in and help answer questions, and give extra help to students who need it. I never have to ask her to help, she just does it. She is an exemplary student, and I am proud to be her teacher. Keep up the amazing work, Lexie!"

In her free time, Lexie enjoys hanging out with family and friends, playing music, camping, hiking, fishing, swimming, and kayaking.

After her time at HHS, Lexie plans to attend college, hopefully out-of-state, and major in business and entrepreneurship.

Ciaran Courtnage is the other Havre High School student of the month for December 2021.

He is the son of Nathan and Danielle Courtnage and has one sibling, Ainsley.

Ciaran is a sophomore who is active in football, hockey and track. Heather Haney, who nominated Ciaran says "Ciaran is a responsible, conscientious, and highly motivated student. His work is exemplary, he always puts forth his best effort, has an outstanding attitude, is willing to ask questions, and participates in class discussions. Thank you, Ciaran, for your positivity, your kindness and your hard work!"

In his free time, Ciaran enjoys hanging out with friends, traveling, wake surfing, and exploring new places.

After graduation, he plans to attend college to study astrophysics.
