As Hi-Line boys basketball teams returned from their winter breaks this past weekend, they were looking to get back into a groove and set the tone for the rest of the season. Some teams continued to establish themselves as a force to be reckoned with while others are still trying to figure it out.

Hi-Line basketball got started in 2022 last Tuesday with a District 9C matchup between the Chinook Sugarbeeters and the Chester-Joplin-Inverness Hawks. At the end of the night, it was the Hawks who started the new year with a 51-40 win.
