State and local COVID-19 update, Jan. 13, 2022

Hill County Health Department said in its update Wednesday that 22 new cases were reported and 20 met the criteria to be considered recovered with 53 active cases in the county and 3,690 total cases. The county has had 71 deaths.

Blaine County Health Department said in its update Wednesday that it was notified of 11 new cases and 3 met the criteria to be considered recovered with 26 active cases in the county and 1,582 total cases. The county has had 29 deaths.

Rocky Boy Health Center, also reported on the Chouteau or Hill County reports, reported Wednesday 9 new cases and 6 met the criteria to be considered recovered with 28 active cases and 1,282 total cases and no active hospitalizations. The reservation has had 10 deaths.

Fort Belknap Indian Community, also listed in the Blaine or Phillips county numbers, reported Wednesday 6 new cases and none met the criteria to be considered recovered with 9 active cases, 828 total cases and no active hospitalizations. The reservation has had 13 deaths

The Montana COVID tracking map update and current numbers for Liberty and Chouteau counties were not available by printing deadline this morning.

People can visit the state tracking map, normally updated between 10 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. each day, online through links at https://montana.maps.arcgis.com and at https://covid19.mt.gov .

People can find online where vaccines are available in their area through https://vaccinefinder.org, operated by Boston’s Children’s Hospital and supported by Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the United States Digital Service.
