Havre Police Department

Someone stopped at the police station Friday at 6:13 a.m. asking to speak with an officer about a complaint.

Gerald Alex Belgarde Jr. of Havre, 39, was arrested on a state District court warrant and two Justice or City court warrants and a charge of driving with no driver's license during a vehicle stop on First Avenue Friday at 12:45 p.m.

A report of a pickup truck backing into a light pole on Fifth Avenue was called in Friday at 2:59 p.m.

--

Officers assisted with a medical call a Havre Middle School Friday at 4:58 p.m.

--

A 17th Avenue caller reported the theft of $250 from her purse Friday at 5:15 p.m.

A juvenile status offense was reported by Child and Family Services Friday at 6:15 p.m.

Nicole Dawn Whitford of Havre, 41, was arrested on charges of failure to notify owner of damage to property, failure to give notice of an accident, careless driving and no vehicle insurance after a caller at Second Street and 15th Avenue reported a vehicle crash with unknown injuries Friday at 7:10 p.m.

Ronald Kelly Overlie of Chester, 59, was issued a summons on a disorderly conduct charge after a First Street caller reported Saturday at 11:21 a.m. that a man threatened to use a gun to get his pickup back, and officers were asked at 12:09 p.m. to perform extra patrols in the area.

Officers investigated a Saturday 1:03 p.m. report of a shoplifter at a First Street business.

Officers investigated a Saturday 11:51 p.m. report from a First Street business of stolen beer.

Elizabeth Marlee Horn of Harlem, 22, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant and a charge of headlamp violation during a vehicle stop on First Street Sunday at 1:28 a.m.

Tristen Jace Gone of Fort Belknap, 22, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and obstructing a peace officer or other public servant and on a federal warrant after a Second Street caller reported a disturbance in progress Sunday at 2 a.m.

Kylie Kay Barrows of Havre, 21, was arrested on three Justice or City court warrants, and Salvador Campos Rivera of Havre, 41, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant after a caller on Second Street Northeast reported Sunday at 2:43 a.m. someone in a pickup truck in front of her brother's home was doing burnouts and and revving the engine.

Someone stopped at the police station Sunday at 11:09 a.m. to report that their vehicle had been egged.

--

Meea Lee Healy of Havre, 19, was arrested on charges of partner or family member assault and minor in possession related to a Sunday 10:05 p.m. report of a disturbance in progress on First Street Northeast.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to four calls Friday, five calls Saturday and three Sunday.

Firefighters responded to a 1:07 p.m. call Friday on the 10 Block of Third Street West and a call about a gas odor Sunday at 4:25 p.m. on the 400 Block of Seventh Avenue. No one was made available to provide further details.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held three cats and one 9-month-old kitten all of unknown gender, four female cats, five male cats, and one male 6-month-old kitten.

The shelter also held a male mixed-breed dog, three female mixed-breed dogs, a male German shepherd, a female shepherd, a male corgi, a female 23-week-old mixed-breed puppy and a female 15-week-old mixed-breed puppy. Also held separately are six 7-week-old puppies, two 5-week-old puppies and a female 9-month-old puppy, all mixed-breeds.

A boy was born Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2022, to Autumn and Nathan Chapman of Havre.

A girl was born Thursday, Jan. 13, 2022, to Mia and Jonathan Nepoose of Havre.
