State and local COVID-19 update, Jan. 20, 2022

The Montana state COVID tracking map after this morning’s update listed 2,059 new cases, 12,579 active cases, 275 hospitalizations and 2,966 deaths. The cumulative total for the state was 220,090 cases.

Hill County Health Department said in its update Wednesday that 159 new cases were reported and 37 met the criteria to be considered recovered with 252 active cases in the county and 4,002 total cases. two people were hospitalized and two were discharged. Hill County has had 71 deaths.

Havre Public Schools reported Wednesday 8 new cases in people associated with Havre Public School District, 19 so far for the week.

Blaine County Health Department said in its update for Wednesday that it was notified of 39 new cases and 8 met the criteria to be considered recovered with 157 active cases in the county and 1,740 total cases. The county has had 29 deaths.

Rocky Boy Health Center, also reported on the Chouteau or Hill county reports, reported Wednesday 43 new cases and 5 met the criteria to be considered recovered with 148 active cases and 1,417 total cases and no active hospitalizations. The reservation has had 10 deaths.

Fort Belknap Indian Community, also listed in the Blaine or Phillips county numbers, reported Wednesday 19 new cases and 3 met the criteria to be considered recovered with 105 active cases on the reservation, 931 total cases, no active hospitalizations. The reservation has had 13 deaths

Liberty County, reported on the state update this morning, had 4 new cases, 24 active, 326 total cases, 2 deaths.

Chouteau County, reported on the state update this morning, had 5 new cases, 9 active, 858 total cases, 12 deaths.
