The high school girls basketball season continued across the Hi-Line last week but there were some interruptions as the Box Elder Bears and the Hays-Lodge Pole Thunderbirds had to postpone some games because of COVID-19 issues. But even with a depleted slate, many Hi-Line teams were able to play some games last week.
Hi-Line basketball started Thursday night when the Chinook Sugarbeeters won, 74-42, against the Big Sandy Pioneers. The Sugarbeeters jumped out early as they led, 23-9, at the end of the first quarter.
