State and local COVID-19 update, Jan. 27, 2022

The Montana state COVID tracking map after this morning’s update listed 2,978 new cases, 18,090 active cases, 314 hospitalizations and 2,990 deaths. The cumulative total for the state was 235,967 cases.

Hill County Health Department said in its update Wednesday that 30 new cases were reported and 36 met the criteria to be considered recovered with 29 active cases in the county, 4 active hospitalizations, 4,293 total cases and the county has had 71 deaths.

Havre Public Schools reported Wednesday 3 new cases in people associated with Havre Public School District reported Tuesday and Wednesday.

Blaine County Health Department said in its update Wednesday that it was notified of 30 new cases and 27 met the criteria to be considered recovered with 175 active cases in the county, 1 active hospitalization, 1,953 total cases and the county has had 19 deaths.

Rocky Boy Health Center, also reported on the Chouteau or Hill county reports, reported Wednesday 10 new cases 8 met the criteria to be considered recovered with 135 active cases, 2 active hospitalizations and 1,528 total cases. The reservation has had 10 deaths.

Fort Belknap Indian Community, also listed in the Blaine or Phillips county numbers, reported Wednesday 14 new cases and 27 met the criteria to be considered recovered with 98 active cases, 1 active hospitalization and 1,054 total cases. The reservation has had 13 deaths.

Liberty County, reported on the state update this morning, had 7 new cases, 22 active, 348 total cases, 2 deaths.

Chouteau County, reported on the state update this morning, had 3 new cases, 6 active, 876 total cases, 12 deaths.
