Lights fall in overtime, Skylights fall behind at Western

Northern's Anthony Braggs Jr. shoots the ball against Rocky Mountain College at Armory Gymnasium last weekend. The Lights started a road trip at Western on Thursday night where they lost, 85-78, in overtime. The Skylights also played at Western on Thursday night where they lost 69-54.

The Montana State University-Northern Skylights and Montana Western Bulldogs brought frustratingly long losing streaks into their Frontier Conference matchup Thursday night. Unfortunately for Northern, it was Western who snapped its streak.

The Skylights lost to Montana Western 69-54 Thursday in Dillon. The Skylights started off rough getting down 23-13 in the first quarter. The Bulldogs kept a steady lead going into halftime 39-25. Northern cut the lead down to 10 a couple time, but just couldn't get it done.
