State and local COVID-19 update, Feb. 1, 2022

The Montana state COVID tracking map after this morning’s update listed 978 new cases, 17,327 active cases, 329 hospitalizations and 3,016 deaths. The cumulative total for the state was 243,133 cases.

Hill County Health Department said in its update Monday that 56 new cases were reported and 80 met the criteria to be considered recovered with 168 active cases in the county, 1 active hospitalization, 4,409 total cases and the county has had 71 deaths.

Blaine County Health Department said in its update Monday that it was notified of 44 new cases and 71 met the criteria to be considered recovered with 148 active cases in the county, 4 active hospitalizations, 2,052 total cases and the county has had 29 deaths.

Rocky Boy Health Center, also reported on the Chouteau or Hill County reports, reported Monday 23 new cases 22 met the criteria to be considered recovered with 78 active cases, no active hospitalizations and 1,417 total cases. The reservation has had 10 deaths.

Fort Belknap Indian Community, also listed in the Blaine or Phillips county numbers, reported monday 33 new cases and 32 met the criteria to be considered recovered with 99 active cases, 1 person was were hospitalized with 3 total active hospitalizations and 1,122 total cases. The reservation has had 13 deaths.

Liberty County, reported on the state update this morning, had 1 new case, 24 active, 356 total cases, 2 deaths.

Chouteau County, reported on the state update this morning, had 5 new cases, 8 active, 895 total cases, 12 deaths.
