State and local COVID-19 update, Feb. 4, 2022

Hill County Health Department said in its update Thursday that 24 new cases were reported and 41 met the criteria to be considered recovered with 180 active cases in the county, 1 active hospitalization, 4,256 total cases and the county has had 71 deaths.

Blaine County Health Department said in its update Thursday that it was notified of 14 new cases and 28 met the criteria to be considered recovered with 119 active cases in the county, 1 person was discharged from the hospital with 29 active hospitalizations, 2,093 total cases and the county has had 29 deaths.

Rocky Boy Health Center, also reported on the Chouteau or Hill county reports, reported Thursday 10 new cases and 6 met the criteria to be considered recovered with 92 active cases, no active hospitalizations and 1,458 total cases. The reservation has reported 10 deaths.

Fort Belknap Indian Community, also listed in the Blaine or Phillips county numbers, did not provide an update Thursday.

The Montana state COVID tracking map including data for Chouteau and Liberty counties was not updated by printing deadline this morning.

People can visit the state tracking map, normally updated between 10 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. each day, online through links at https://montana.maps.arcgis.com and at https://covid19.mt.gov .

People can find online where vaccines are available in their area through https://vaccinefinder.org, operated by Boston’s Children’s Hospital and supported by Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the United States Digital Service.
