State and local COVID-19 update, Feb. 9, 2022

The Montana state COVID tracking map after this morning’s update listed 1,032 new cases, 8,340 active cases, 309 hospitalizations and 3,051 deaths. The cumulative total for the state was 254,231 cases.

Hill County Health Department said in its update Tuesday that 45 new cases were reported and 35 met the criteria to be considered recovered with 165 active cases in the county, 1 active hospitalization, 4,605 total cases and the county has had 71 deaths.

Blaine County Health Department said in its update Tuesday that it was notified of 22 new cases and 21 met the criteria to be considered recovered with 99 active cases in the county, 3 active hospitalizations, 2,179 total cases and the county has had 30 deaths.

Rocky Boy Health Center, also reported on the Chouteau or Hill County reports, reported Tuesday 15 new cases and none met the criteria to be considered recovered with 107 active cases, no active hospitalizations and 1,499 total cases. The reservation has reported 10 deaths.

Fort Belknap Indian Community, also listed in the Blaine or Phillips county numbers, reported Tuesday 13 new cases and 21 met the criteria to be considered recovered with 58 active cases, 1 person perviously discharged had to remain hospitalized with 3 active hospitalizations and 1,198 total cases. The reservation has had 14 deaths.

Liberty County, reported on the state update this morning, had 2 new cases, 9 active, 374 total cases, 2 deaths.

Chouteau County, reported on the state update this morning, had 5 new cases, 7 active, 927 total cases, 14 deaths.
